Neither of the mfg's (Pirelli or Lonseal) will officially recommend their products for exterior application.
Lonseal comes in sheets that are 72"x60"
just wanted to make a few points of clarification.....Cigarette orders their "pirelli" from a company called Lonseal. the product is actually called Lonwave. for years Cigarette has used Lonwave for all of their applications. Lonwave, originally designed for internal applications, had the reputation of discoloring due to the sun's UV rays. last month, Lonseal released a new product called Londeck Wave. it is the exact same pattern, colors, and texture as the Lonwave, but it is made for external application and is resistant to discoloring due to UV, oils, cleaners, etc. i had received some inside info last fall that they would be releasing this product early spring, so i decided to wait until i could get the new Londeck Wave. unfortunatley, Lonseal does not sell directly to the consumer, so you will need to find a marine business or a flooring company that will set up an account with Lonseal so you can order it. dealer's cost on the Lonwave is approx $35.86 per square yard and Londeck Wave is $37.36 per square yard. the roll is 6' wide and the pattern runs the length of the roll, which is over 50' long. basically, you have to install it in the cockpit running from side to side, with a seam under the rear seat. in the cabin, it runs oposite (length of the boat).
Londeck Wave is so new that it isn't even on their website yet. you can check out the Lonwave Mirage at www.lonseal.com
i pulled a favor to get mine, otherwise i would let you use my source......but it was a one time deal.
i hope this helps. here is a picture of Speed Racer and the new Lonseal i installed last month.
