1976 Glastron Carlson CV-16 V8

Hello,

I am new to this site. I own a 1976 Glastron Carlson CV-16 V8 and was hoping to see if anyone has the transom boarding ladder for this year. I believe that this was offered for the 75 & 76 years only and only for the V8 option. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
gcalla 1-508-328-2639

Nice ride! I used to be really into the Carlsons. Has a '73 CV16 with the @#$ Volvo B-20 and a '79 CVX-18 with a 350. Really miss the CVX. Someday I may downsize from the 26' to a Carlson CVX-23.

Thank You all for the friendly welcome, to all that responded to my search request for the boarding ladder. I am still looking! Here are a few photos of my ride. I just cleaned her up and gave her a nice wax today and will post some better photos shortly but for now, these are photos taken by the prior owner.

I actually have a history of Glastron ownership. My first was a 73 GT-160 with a Johnson 115 that I restored, then a 78 GT-150 in the centennial white option that I also restored. Following that I had a 77 Bayflight with the 140 Merc. I/O. Shortly ther after, I restored a 79 CVX-18 with a 350 block and through hull exhaust and then back to a 76 GT-150 and now here with the model that I've searched for a long time, my CV-16 V8. This is my first Glastron with a Volvo Outdrive.

No, It is the original Ford 302 that Glastron offered in this model, with a very rere 280 "T" Volvo Penta outdrive that has the power trim option, not jus tthe tilt for trailering.

Great photos Mike. We seem to have much in common. I also have an old classic like your 442. I have a 69 Mustang MachI Fastback and just recently sold my 96 Fatboy. For the ocean, I have an 88 Renken Italia 2100.

Regards,

Glen
