I have received emails from people telling me they can no longer post messages. This inevitably happens after they either:
1) Change their email address in their profile
2) Change their password
After you change your password or change your email address an email is sent to your to verify the change. Unless you click on the link in the email that is sent to you, your posting privileges are revoked. This is done to prevent someone from breaking into your account and making unauthorized changes without your knowledge.
I have seen a number of subscribers with email filters that block emails from various sources including Speedwake.com unless the sender somehow identifies themself and the Speedwake.com website email software is unable to comply with theses requests and if this happens you're out of luck.
Please insure that:
1) you respond to any email that is sent to you by the Speedwake.com website if you change your email address or password
2) you enter a valid email address if your change your password. If you eneter an invalid email address and do not respond to the confirmation email, your posting privilges are revoked until you respond to that email.
IN ADDITION!!!!!
For new member that enter incorrect or bogus email addresses, you will not be able to post messages or access the forums until you respond to the email that is sent to you. If you have email filters turned on - make sure you turn them off to insure that the speedwake confirming email reaches your inbox so that you can reply to this email and activate your membership.
