Well it was a long climb, 22ZX, then our 26ZX and now this.
We love the Donzi ride, heavy pigs that ride real good in rough water. IMHO.
I should have her home late this week.

UNDERTAKER, Thanks, Woody just left, him and the wife stayed a bit and visited, he was VERY impressed with the 26ZX, flawless as promised.
We are done.
Plan to arrive NE MD Thursday eve, drop off the 26ZX, stay at the Crystall Inn, dinner same spot.
We can hook up if you like.
F250 PSD will be serviced Tuesday to make sure she can make the haul, doing the 80K mile service early.
Thanks again for all your help. My best to the family too.

What does your new baby weigh in at?
I'm looking at Webbcraft Concorde and it's stated between 7800 and 10,000 lbs. I hope it rides well since she doesn't have quite the top end. |

9800 dry, plus 174 gallons of gasl, with water and all about 12000. She rides like a dream. Mid 70's GPS boat.
She will go to the scales soon, so I will let you know.

The pics just don't do this boat justice!!!!
It is drop dead gorgeous in person.
Looks like it rides like a dream. Bryan & Nancy had permanent smiles attached to their face all day.
Here is a pic from the maiden voyage on the Ches. Bay. |

Bill, we had a wonderful time this weekend.
The twins dock well, much easier than I thought, and yes, the smiles are permanently attached.
I will also say your Cig is one sweet piece, the water today was NO JOKE, only ONE fishing boat dared to go out on the tunnel.
Yet it was an awesome run with you and Macklin.
Thanks again for a great weekend, the runs, food and company was 1st class....

donzi the boat looks great. How did it handle the rough stuff and what speeds will it run. We are looking at a 05 33zx and stepping up from a 29 fountain to gain more cabin. I am coming down for the frenzy poker run and staying friday at ocm. Hope to see yall there.

Terry, the boat did fine, that water was no joke and I don't care what anyone says. Biggest ocean water I have boated in minus an aircraft carrier or five the last 24 years in the Navy.
I believe in the Donzi Hull design, weight distro & lay up, my 3rd ZX boat in 5 years, I just keep getting bigger ones, the 22 and 26 were fun, but would NOT have made this run, IMHO, most turned back. We were not the fastest big boat by far, but hung and had a good ride and lots of fun, (95% of the time we renetered soft, we did land bad a few times, broke a latch and a gauge beauty ring). We were no match for BillR's Cig or Recklesses 32 Sunsation, they have the lighter hull designed for speed, and they did it up right, two great boats to also consider, they preformed extremely well in these conditions, your call depending on budget and desire. I am VERY pleased with this Donzi for what we wanted to be able to do big picture. My value to $ sign with Donzi has been well worth the extra cost. Our boat is loaded up nice for the wife.
The boat is an all day 73 MPH GPS hull with 496MAG HO's, 75 if you get real lucky on timing, but let me say this, you can cruise 60 when most are throttling back in the real ugly stuff. We are spinning Merc Factory Labbed Bravo I 26P's turning in. She flies flat and re-enters smooth.
My dry weight was 10,140 plus 174 gallons of fuel to weigh in at about 11,500, plus water, toys, people etc.
So your humping between 12 and 13 K-pounds... :)
Impressive ride and numbers considering how much more we weigh than most 32 to 38' boats.
The day of the run we did 55 to 60 in the ocean, 65 to 70 on the bay, I am still learning this boat, it was our 5th time out on her even though 5 times equates to about 35 hours, we are running her and learning her.
Cuddy is very nice, the wife loves the head (I love head too! :laugher: ). I love all the extra deep storage.
I am 15 minutes from OM Marina, I keep my boat at the house, call anytime.
I am not running the Frenzy PR.

Nancy's pic for 8x10, I think, there were two bow on shots to choose from.
Let me add, Randy is one GREAT photo man...

I highly recommend him to all that organize big events who also want quality work. |
