after this summer i will be searching for my second boat........
somthing small like a boston whaler 13' or possibly a jetboat. i would prefer an outboard though. i want something to kick around on during the weeknights that i can just leave in the water |

Do not own anything right now, busy launching a business, but believe me, a boat is in my future. Mom wants one desparately and kids love the idea also. Grew up in South Florida with a 13'9" Lone Star deep V with an 85 Johnson. Had a three blade prop/screw that looked like it came off the Qeen Mary!
We usually go to Lake Norman outside of Charlotte each summer and ski with DR. Brother-in-law. Great time. May be relocating to the Lake Oconee / Lake Sinclair area of Georgia in the next few years and would love to get wet then. Anyone currently living in or around these lakes that may have information on boating restrictions there, drop me a line and make me an informed prospective boater. Hope to get two boats 1) Go Fast; 2) ski and pleasure. |

Now I'm down to 2 and going to sell both of those and move up to 1 big one. |

| Me and my brother owned a 20ft wooden boat with an inboard 8.5 h/p Kohler engine. The sides were about 8 inches off the water and it had a tiller in the back to steer. Every year you had to paint it then sink it for about a week to seal up the boards. Good times, made alot of money crabbing, we used to call it "The African Queen" slow as dirt but I wasn't in a hurry back then. Had to wrap the crank with a rope to start it. Man those were the days. |

but also have 2 sail boats, a wind surfer, 3 sea-doos, a zodiac, a sport yak, 4 inflitable (kids) boats, and a swin raft (if that counts)....

I clicked '4' before I read the instructions! Since the 12' Inflatable is registered in NY......it should have been '5' !!! :smile1:

| Tough question for me, I buy and sell but usually have at least two. Right now I am down to one (Baja) but I do have an extra trailer looking for the right fishing boat. Sorta like my car situation, I have six right now but that also fluctuates, the neighbors never know what I am driving! :bigsmile: |
