| S4B, I saw your boat last week-end at Conley botom a couple of times. Didn't know it was you. I was in a 332 Outlaw that you probably didn't notice. |

I agree 100% with agressor!!! Most of the time, we are hotter and just as humid here in the central midwest the FL... If I want to cool of, I get in the water. Boating and sun go hand in hand. |

we only use the anchore shade if it rains-and or at night
works great for keeping the dew off of the interior! |
|
|
| sunsation98 |
| i also do not use the second pole-with only the one it works pretty darn good-unless you get a wicked wind! |

| Was thinking about going with a custom bimini, but I have a custom cockpit cover, and would probably have to take the bimini off instead of just fold it down to put the cockpit cover on at the end of the day. How does everyone like the "Anchor shade"??? Is it built to last more than a couple seasons? Easy to put up and down???? |

| Here's what my old boat looked like with the shade.. I kept it and its now on my new boat... But have not had a chance to use it yet... But I will very soon... |

| Need to get this modified. This is a convertible top. I prefer the bimini top. Much easier to use. |

| My shop made the modifications needed to my cockpit cover to allow for the bimini top to remain in place. I leave the top up all the time and put the cockpit cover on as well. He just had to cut and seem 4 places on the cockpit cover to accept the new bimini... Works great!!! |

Using a new anchor shade. New design-open box before buying as no part # change. The new design has stronger support ribs and a cafe style top which lets air vent out the top. If the top has another little top over the vents-you have the new version. Many of the big stores still have old stock-so check for this before you buy.
I use 4 Carabiners-the cheap kind used for key rings-through the loop on each strap and then slip them over the pop up cleats. Quick and easy.
Need two people to put up-but much quicker than a bimini and a lot eaiser to store. Just can't use it underway. If I needed shade a lot-like in FL and needed to run with it up- a Bimini would be the way to go. |

I personally prefer these for shade... the boat gets a little crowded but Karen doesn't mind...

| I just bought the anchor shade. I had a hard time coughing up 200 bucks for an umbrella but I love it! I originally bought it for the spoiled black dog who bakes in the sun but the wife and I like it too. |

| Anchor Shade. Those people need to make them in a larger size to cover more of the cockpit area. The pits when it starts to rain. |
