| Works for me. I have noticed that sometimes some of the pictures aren't able to be enlarged but I haven't seen a problem and I just checked it out after reading your post. |

some picture aren't enlargable...
it all depends on the size of the uploaded image. If the image is not big to begin with it can't be enlarged.
If the photo has been reduced by the gallery software, you'll see the sizes of the available images near the bottom of the screen. Large images are automativally resized during uploading so that they can be displayed faster. If there's a larker image available, you'll be able to click on the displayed image. If the image is not "clickable" no larger size is available.
okie dokie?

if this happens to you in the gallery, click the "logout" link in the upper right hand side of the gallery screen. When I upgraded the photo software last week I moved all the photo to a new directory and your galley software cookie is probably pointing to the old directory which is causing the problem. If that does not work, I'd like you to logout of the main forum (here) then log back in. To log out, click "forum" from the menu bar and then click "logout" from that menu. To log back in; scroll all the way to the bottom of the forum hompage and look on the right for the login name and password fields.
let me know if that works, ok??

Jeff, just a thought and being a newbie here. When I went to click on pics they would not enlarge as well. Doesnt' the post count have to be 5 or more before its accessible? Seems as though after I crossed that threshold it works great!??
 Oh...and love the site, by the way. Don :hiya: |

are you talking about the Photo Galley or while attempting to view Images here in the forum that are inside threads.
I have the system setup so that only registered user can access the gallery.
It's understandable that somone get a message when attempting to access the gallery - this happens all the time to people who are just visitors.
But to get that message when you're a registered user is somewhat surprising since the only way to even get to the gallery is to pass the mustard on the "registered user" test.
I've have sent you a personal message with a link that I'd like you to try and please respond wi me with a personal message or email detailing the results... thanks!
I also updated your profile to "browse the forum with cookies" since they gallery get's its information from the forum when allowing access.

Jeff, does that less than 5 posts stuff I posted previously in this thread make any sense? I know before I had a 5 post count, I too couldn't open gallery pictures. The page would display with various pictures, but when trying to enlarge...I would get a log on prompt and it said something like need 5 posts to be a valid user (or something like that).:banghead:
Anyway, just a thought. It works like a charm now! Don |

Dunnit... I'm going to have to look into that one. I no of no parametrs in the code that limit anyone but as a seasoned programmer I can tell you that I won't know for sure until I look at the code...
thanks !
