Power Bolster Seat Help!               >>> CLICK HERE FOR THE ORIGINAL THREAD <<<
1 bad Mirage
I just took out our new 99 27ft Fountain and all was great except the drivers side bolster is now stuck in the down position. Does anyone know where the fuse is for the power bolster? Or heck how about any type of fuse panel on this boat. It was getting dark so I gave up my fuse search and will resume when it quits raining here. The passenger seat powers up and down just fine and i do know the drivers bolster motor was replaced last season. I was going to try swapping switches out to see if thats the issue but would like to know if it is something as easy as just poping in a new fuse.
Thanks for the help

Pull the mirror off int he cuddy on the drivers side and look back there. If not there, did you look under the dash?

I dont know if it was on ebay but it was in the boat trader and yes i picked it up out of Tacoma WA.....What a great boat we love it! lucky for you that you moved the weather here SUCKS 90% of the year. Once May comes we head for Lake Chelan east of the mountains till early October Seattle weather is to unpredictable but go east and you are guarenteed HOT sun every day.

You must be a local trying to portrya that the weather is soooo bad!!!! :winker: :winker: :winker: I the weather is not as bad as locals try to convince others, and I know why the locals do it, they are tired of people moving there!!!! :D :D :D

I'll take Seattle weather over the weather any day from the other parts of the country I have lived, Esat Coast, Gulg Coast, Midwest... I spent lost of time in Chelan, Wenatchee, Friday Harbor, but Seattle was home, know the whole state very well... :winker:

Best of luck with the boat, she is beautiful!!!!

Found the culprit.. a loose power wire grounding out on the Bolster frame

I agree that we dont want more newcomers to the area. As it is we have some of the worst traffic in the US. I live in Maple Valley and work in Woodinville. The commute is 1.5 hours one way and its getting worse. I hope to move up to Kirkland in the next couple years. FYI the weather does suck here unless
you enjoy rain from October to July 5th! We just try to vacation to Mexico or HI. a few time a year to cope with the weather

Newbie Here.............Try looking under the seat where the hydrolic lines come through the side panel you should have 4 wires coming through there, if the seats have evry been removed there might be a loose conection there from when they were put back in. I found some spade connectors there on my 1998 27 footer. I also found a fuse block under my dash but I dont know what it runs yet. Also on the back of the switch there are for spade connectors, might try those as well. If you cant tell I just had my whole interior out, what a job that is. I will post some pics in a coulpe of days of the work that I did.

Good luck with your problem
