| You have 2 National races on the same weekend and you can only drum up 60 some boats. I remember in the hay day of APBA you could/would see 100+ boats at a race (Daytona) now the sport is splintered so far in different directions we may never see events like that again :( |

I realize OSS has tons of $$$. I also know JC will not just give up.
We are all to blame . This will be a much larger mess by the end of the season. Wait till the "party racing" gets into full swing ! You won't see too many families in attendance . Pretty soon maybe we can have some brass poles and complimentery silver spoons given out at the gate. !!!

Mike Im sorry I meant there were about 60 boats total between the OSS MArathon race and the Ft Myers race |

Did you guys see the wall street article?
Hanna called me and asked if I would do an interview with her . I said OK ,and we were supposed to meet up at noon on saturday before the race .( marathon)
I got sick and went home early ,so no interview .I'm glad as I was not sure I really wanted too. Sha had previously told me on the phone that she had spoken to many at the first race site ( OSS ) and her comments then made me a little nervous .It was obvious her intent was to divide the two of us "in print".
I would not have fallen for that . We have a hard enuf time between ourselves without outside help .
Since becoming involved in this sport I have pretty much lost respect for reporters. Especially those who use their page for their own agenda .
All in All it was a bad read .
Was is untrue ? You tell me .
I called her back to ask why she was not honest with me about the true nature of the intrview on the phone . I'm waiting on a reply . |
