| 1996 35 lighting 502's bravo 1 w/ ext drive oil tank mounted to engine. saw tank full drove for 30 minutes at 3000 to 4800 rpm. tank is empty and seems to be on floor of eng. compartment. i looked on eng some oil but not a lot. looked at tank no real oil on tank and no oil under tank. ran hand on line do not feel any oil. how did it get out of tank? filled tank slow leak but have not had a chance to run it as hard. pulled boat out of water no oil on drive or any signs of a leak. what and how should i ck this? |

| Did you check the push on fitting at the transom. |

| If it is the old style round tank it is cracked. |

| I had to replace one of mine already also. |

| look around the Fitting at the bottom if its the old round type it will have a star crack in the bottom around the threads |
