Has anyone ever removed the headliner, or sucessfully
convinced Fountain to build a 47 without headliner,
so the boat has a decent amount of headroom?
I went aboard a couple recently, and the suspended ceiling
was very low -- essentially resulting in the boat having
the headroom of a flat deck.
Seems like if the inside of the deck was just finished
with paint, or like my Fountain with foam backed fabric
glued to the deck, then way more headroom. The flush hatches
still interfere, but it seems like it would be MUCH better. |
