Whipple or Super Chiller on 29 Fever w/575               >>> CLICK HERE FOR THE ORIGINAL THREAD <<<

Hi to all:

Has anyone installed either the low profile intercooler from whipple (1.65" extra height) or the Super Chiller (4 inches extra height) on a 29 Fever ?

The Super Chiller offers a lot more power upgrade options, to 700hp I believe. But, can't fit under the hatch. Other then a scoop, what other options are there? Any after market hatch manufacturers?

The Whipple low profile cooler offers up to about 100 HP and can most likely fit under the hatch, with maybe a little cutting into the bottom of the hatch. What speed gains would be seen from the 80-100hp and 100lbs of torgue. Boat at stock is 78-80mph most of the time.

Really would like to keep the logo'd hatch if possible, unless a nice option is avail for replacing it.

Thanks in advance for your input.

That is all the boat was really designed to do-Does it get real loose at 76 and up? I had a 2003 575 and was thinking of just adding a pulley for a little extra, but didn't think it was worth it to go more than that.

I do not have a fever, but i do have a 31' sonic with twin 575 sci's and they have the blowers w/ super chillers. They produce lots of power and run perfect. I do have scoops because of the height. hope this helps some what?

I would like to throw on a set of Super Chillers but I am about 1 inch from hitting my race hatch as it is. :confused1
