Mine came from FL( I can ck further)....factory installed at Fountain. Works great, easy to store and sturdy. Not sure who makes West Marine but same principle.

Hooks on back left of platform.

I have the same one and it works great however, it will sometimes detach (but floats) in rough water.

I also have a dive type ladder. It has a pin going through the bracket to keep the ladder from comming off.

Makes sense.

I'll have to look to see if mine is set up to receive a pin (Boat didn't come with one - but could have been lost).

Thanks

Bye the way - this is my 300th post (although it took me better than 4 years)
Swamplizard
these are great - you can climb them with fins on and they float

Mine has a plastic C clamp, almost an O, that turns to lock ladder in place. Just don't forget to take ladder off when you're ready to rock!! :yak:

Mounting after factory is still a prob. Not sure how to get back there.

How about a cheap rope type ladder that you could tie off the stern rail or cleat?

How did you tighten the bolts to hold bracket on?
