Nice boat.....not a ton of 22 classics up in our neck of the woods....what are you seeing for top end after the shorty? Ran a black 22 up by Crossover/Singer castle in some moderate slop and was very impressed....only let him hang for a little bit though :D

Last time up there I was seeing 79 on a Gaffrig gps. I'm gonna be tweeking the prop a bit more, playing around with a turbo prop as well. How about yourself, power/top end

I SHOULD be right up around there but still learning the limits to my hull....not a sit down and hammer it boat...she starts to walk at around 65+ in flat sticky water which I am starting to think might be a combo of tab position and prop. With a solid 2-3 chop the hull really comes alive and sets up nicely and been up to 72 with throttle and trim left but little nerve racking in such a narrow boat in that kind of water. Boat is a low-mid 80's boat(according to GRH and other previous owners)....which sounds right about where yours is going to be come spring! :D Boat has a turned up 454 mag putting out 499hp on the dyno...the mid-range punch of the motor is insane. Part I like is a 55-57 mph cruise at 3300 rpms. Love your classic in the all white btw..great clean look

Thanks for that compliment. That boat has a deep v and a narrow beam similar to mine. It will take some getting used to. I know when I have worked with mine I was speepish on some of the similar characterstics. I learned on my (it had torque steer causing it to list to one side) boat that I had to power through that problem. Now I dont use tabs when going top end. Believe it or not, the blade Im using is so much more stable than the stock Mirage that came with the boat. The Shorty is also helping the boat in regards to stability. I can trim this boat right out and pull up tabs hit the throttle and take my hands off the wheel its so stable (I dont do that but I could). Before I made these adjustments I had trouble trimming out and keeping boat @full gas. This worked for me, maybe a prop will help you get you where you need to be, not much cash required either.
BTW, same to you on your superboat, nice clean lines as well . Looks like we are old fashioned like that
