I direct this at you ,as you were the only one I actually knew to respond to it .
Youve been a good freind thru the years . You know my fun side along with my passionate side as per the racing community .
I'm done , been done for a while . The Bruce Serroff killer mentality gave me my leave a while back . A take violence seriously ,and run from it .
That being said . Klaatu on any forum in the past two years is not me . In fact ,other than NUT JOB here ,I dont participate .

Someone from oso(using my card # appling as KLAATU my old screen name ) screwed with my identity HERE so that I cannot even get on here as " NUT JOB " ( which user name I like )So I went with an old address ,"Flasher" . I hope i'm not removed here on a technicality LOL.

Spec classes grow again
Sanctioning body wants more money to grow sport so they bring in other vendors
Owners get pissed off
New organization is formed
Cycle starts over

Somewhere in this mess, someone takes a shot at the UIM/APBA license and finds out John is a true pirate. Someone ends up in Davey Jones locker. :)
Time to build an endurance boat and knock down some of the time distance records. |

When the spec classes come back so will I . i loved it from about 99 2003 .That was fun . I've almost lost all contact with the sport since it died .
I do like the p-class growth tho . Its interesting to see how the spec built boats are holding up under big power .
Remember when all were saying Fountains would fall apart ? most have done pretty well . And those OPA guys put in some Visciuos power.
Distance racing was always cool . In key west ,it workedgreat . You went to the pier in the morning ,watched them take off , then picnic ( drink ) till they came back . Sounds borin but it wasnt . Due to frequent up dates from the crews . |
