at 45 mph I burn 28 gallons on premium fuel per hour.
at 60 mph - about 42 gallons per hours.
The whipples increased my fuel mileage substantially.
before whipples I burnt about 35 GPH at 45 mph.
merc sets their computers to run the engine really rich (black soot on transom). Whipple leaned it out and no more black soot and better fuel economy.

About 1 1/2 - 2 mpg,,,actually got better with my new engine modifications...Bigger cam,carb etc

...about 100 lbs of fuel per 100 hp per hour. In my case, 60 to 90 gallons per hour each side depending on desired speed, or the same as 42 Fountain above...

2 miles per gallon running at three quarters throttle...I cannot afford wide open very often

I get about .85 mpg at 3500.
