Hi Tommy, I too have a Martini that I've completely restored. Did you eliminate the hook?

Later, Brian

P.S. Oh yeah, I'm going to build a fiberglass one that incorporates the exhaust pipes cause' I couldn't find anything worth putting on.

Cool, What kind of martini do you have. My is a 79 martini super sport. Cig hull .... It has only has a 350 that is all done up a little. Cam ,heads, carb, Etc. It has about 325 horse. It runs pretty good. I have not taking off the hook yet maybe when i do the swim platform i will take that out. I am putting new graphics on it and trying a new prop this year to get a little more speed out of it. What size prop do you run I have a 18 on it now and was thinking of bumping it up a few .

I don't know if this would help you or not. Ya never know till ya ask right?

I have a fiberglass/wood swim platform off of a 242 Formula. It needs some help (paint and small repair) but I'd let ya have it for $50

Tommy, looks like this thread has been ressurrected, I haven't seen it for awhile. Have you found a suitable swim platform yet? I reread your post and see that you have a small block in it. This is unrelated to your current needs but if you need some more speed (like I have to ask :D ) I have some small block goodies still in hibernation here at the shop. Sportsman heads, 400SBC/ short block, cams, roller rockers, MSD ignition, intakes, carb etc. Let me tell you, when I went from the 350 to the modified 400SBC it never left me without a grin on my face! If I remember correctly, the dyno sheet said 400+ ft/lbs. torque @ 3800RPM. Anyhow, hope you find something usable.

Sincerely,
