"marina talked with a guy would said the lake was down 75ft but was goin up a ft a day"

Hmmmmm, I've been boating at Lake Pleasant for a few years and yes it does go up and down that much in a season.

I dunno about a foot a day though.... If it is that is exceptional... Usually by March/April is is completely full and then drawn down all summer/fall to water Phoenix and the surrounding communities.

The lake is almost never the same from week to week.

This might be a dumb question but does a boat sitting in the clear water of lakes out there get the scum lines like we deal with in the ocean and bays..

It just shocked me that someone left a nice Powerquest sitting in the water...Then the question came to mind.......

Yup

I go to Lake Powell which has to be one of the cleanest lakes in the nation and I will still get a scum line staying there for my usual 4 to 5 days.

Lake Pleasant will give you a better scum line, or worse depending on your point of view :p:

az boater how hard is it to get a slip at pleasent and if you had to have a open one could you cover it like the one in pic 4 i was surperised to see so many non coverwd slips there were
liquiddiet,

A 40 foot covered slip is about 640 per month + electric a 40 foot uncovered is about half that.

Pleasant Harbor also has the only stack storage (indoor) in Arizona at about 7.75 per foot. Stack storage also includes unlimited in/out with 24 hours notice.

If you store your boat either a slip or stack you're also entitled to marina membership (showers, discounts on fuel etc)

I think they have slips that are open. Last time I called about stack, they had a short waiting list.

You can check them out at:
Pleasant Harbor, Arizona

Hope this helps.

Are you thinking about relocating to Phoenix?
