When we bought Debbie the Explorer a month or so ago, I saw an F150 4x4 that I just loved! It was yellow and black and would have matched our boat perfectly. I took it for a test drive, and it was awesome! The interior is much sharper than it was, lots of chrome instead of plastic. More room inside also. I drove my 99 F150 for 122K miles, and I can tell you this new truck is a great improvement, and the old one was the best truck I ever owned. If I didn't need the F250 to pull the boat with, that 150 would have came home with me.

Congratulations Gilla, you're gonna love it! :)

THe more I drive it, the better it gets. Very solid and quiet ride-with lots of room inside. At a long legged 6"3", with the seat back, I can just touch the firewall with my left foot. With the bench seat-40-20-40, I can move around a little on long trips to stay comnfortable. The brakes are also great and smooth.

NOTE: max trailer weight with 17 inch wheels=9200

Max with 18 inch wheels=8700.

This is out of the manual and the first I have seen limiting tow weight based on the wheel diameter. Anyone else ever notice this? I assume it has to due with the design strength of the wheel, hub to rim.
