OK, so after the trip to the boat show today it looks like there are three boats in the running. I will go in order of personal preference, first boat is a 232 Baja with a 454 mag, stand up bolsters, captains call, with 217 hours, boat has been rack stored and looks fairly clean. What am I looking at with 217 hours on a stock 454mag?
Second boat is a brand new crownline 202br with the lpx package and a 350 mag with bravo 1. It is full red, side exiting stainless captains call, pretty much every option, plus a 5 year mercury extended warranty in the deal.
Third boat is a 215 chaparral, 350 mpi, alpha drive, more of a cruiser than a sport boat, not really crazy about it, just seems sensible.
All of the boats are in the 34-35,000 range. I boat primarily inland on a small lake, the crownline will most likely fit in the garage, trailer has a fold away tongue. So what sounds like the best deal?
