This is another example of how powerboaters are the greatest group of people. I was trying to get my boat out of the river today after the Chicago Air & Water show. I counted 37 boats waiting to tie off so they could get their trailers. Skip & Sandy were already out of the water and ready to go home after a long day at the Air Show. Skip came back down to the dock to offer getting my trailer for me. I passed my truck keys to SnowBoater who then passed them off to someone on a Seadoo who then passed them to Skip at the dock. Skip then waited in line for an additional 45 minutes to get my trailer in the water for me. The launch was a Zoo today. If he hadn't done that for me I'd probably still be in the water.
Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate it.

We passed the launch on I 294 at about 11:30am,and the boats were around the corner. I haven't seen Alsip like that for years.

As far as Skip waiting another 45 minutes,he's like me.......has nothing better to do anyway.:D :laugher:

Just kidding

Sorry Dan,,, I was trying to wait for you to get your truck for you, but there was nowhere to park after I pulled my boat. The idiots had the parking lot blocked so I could not get back in. And the road in/out was blocked with the azzholes who feel the need to park along the fence right at the top of the ramp.

Good going Skip !!!!!

Mrs. OB,
You were better off getting as far away from that place. It was a nuthouse without a Boatnut. :laugher: :laugher: It reminded me of the Alsip of old which I avoided for three years.

Truly it's Vicki's fault. If she would have been with I would have left with you guys. It was still a great day of boating even if it was by myself. :(

Like the song says "That's what friends are for"...... your welcome..But how come the CANDYMAN doesn't have ONE frickin piece of candy in his truck???? I was starving!!!:laugher: :laugher: :D
I had Laffy Taffy and Swedish fish in the boat. They were good! Any suggestions as to what I should stash in the truck in case this ever happens again?
Dan

LOL! No candy in the truck, eh? Dan's probably sick of candy by now. :D

I can't help but wonder if he sold ice cream if Enigma would be asking why the truck didn't play music when he drove it? LOL! Now there would be a site at the launch ramp......
