Nice but I am seriously considering adding a SRT-10 Viper truck to my stable :cool: I drove one the other night when we picked our second CTD...What is your opinion of the Viper truck?

I have already been calling around to see what mods can be done without voiding the warranty. My dealer will give me $2,000 off msrp.

As a Dodge dealer I would say to you Buy it then market it . The truck is Very hard to get in the north east
some dealers are selling for many dollars above msrp.

I was told that from the dealer down here too but I have personally purchased 3 $40k+ trucks from him in the past 9 months so he takes really great care of me...One dealer down here broke it down to me like this:

Grey=$500 below MSRP
Red =$1000 below MSRP
Black=$1500 below MSRP(tons of black ones around for some reason)

Some dealers down here have up to 5 on their lots. Northwest Dodge had 2 black, 2 red, and 1 grey. A black and red one were sent out to California this afternoon. Do you think the value will go up at all? I see these trucks all over down here on the lots so I was curious. If I do buy one I am going to let Gerald at RSI work his magic to get it down to the low 12's while still keeping the warranty.

Do you want some contact info on how to get your hands on all that you can sell from my dealer? He told me that he was selling the most SRT's in the country at this point...Could be true or BS I have no idea :confused: :confused:

So how did it drive?
Very fast for a truck, I was impressed. I called Gottahaveit! with a few questions while we were taking delivery of the new 2500 QC 4x4 Laramie CTD 600 and the GM just pulled it off the showroom and tossed me the keys :eek: I was shocked but he said he knew that I was a gauranteed sale after one ride, looks like he was right ;)

I took my dad for a quick spin and doing 80 mph in 3rd gear we could lay scratches on the freeway. In 4th we past 130mph and was still accelerating very quickly. The brakes, suspension, and power is nothing short of incredible. I called my buddy Gerald Cashiola, some of you might know him from poker runs(37' OL).., and he said for about $9k he can get the truck in the low 12's and still keep the warranty. Here is a link to his shop:

I am 99% sure it will be in my driveway by months end but I am working 14-18 hours a day(even Saturday) just to pay for the new boat due in the next month or 2. I don't want to work myself to death just to pay for all these toys that I won't have time to enjoy...

Vipers get to hot and down by me they are everywhere...Even a 16 y/o girl down the street got a 2003 Viper for her sweet sixteen :eek:

The truck will just be a cool toy to have, especially running low 12's :cool: :D Plus I was told that I won't take as bad of a hit if I go to resale it in a few years.

Nice Neighborhood......what part of the country do I have to move to? [/B]
Woodlands, TX :D

I just drove by the high school and saw mostly brand new 3 and 5 series bemers in student parking :rolleyes:

2 2003 Vipers, 1 older blue GTS, a few vettes,, several Escalades and X-5s and a few Mercedes...Looks more like a Dr's parking lot that kids parking. The kids drives nicer stuff than the teachers :eek:

This is ridiculous though to see every day. But I guess when I have a little princess running around I won't be able to say "no" either ;) :cool:

Mine drive whatever heap I have laying around untill they can afford to buy thier own. They will appreciate a car that they pay for. My 20yr old is still driving a 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Land Yacht. I sold it to him when he decided to drop out of college. He also lives on his own. He loves it!

Redhot, thanks :cool: :D

My uncle also works for Ford...He is a test driver out in Arizona. I could have bought a 6.0 on the A plan but the Dodge is that good of a truck that I could'nt pass it up. My dealer told me today that I am getting $1500 off if I buy before the end of the month. He has 2 black ones and I am going to take the pne with zero miles if I buy it. :laugher:
