You Know, the whole florida dreamin' thing :laugher: :laugher: :laugher:

Jay,

Did Julie tell you how much the other one was????

$700,000 plus    , I talked to the woman here at work that lives in the neighborhood, and she said he was asking close to $900,000, it was on the market for 300 days, and sold this weekend for 700+

Dont mislead these guys, YES its 3 blocks from me, we ride bikes thru there, BUT, here is my house :D :D

A real estate friend of mine told me a long time ago, its better to be the poor guy in a rich neighborhood, than the rich guy in the poor neighborhood. Seems to make sense to me :D :D

true that on the poor guy - I think I have the last ranch in my neighborhood - everyone is levelling them and putting up these 4500 sq ft things on 100x100 foot lot with an electric gate to close off their 20-foot long circular driveway - too wierd

Jayl13,
Sonic is a wonderful boat. Bill and I have owed three 42s. Two with the arch and the last one without. If you don't care about speed (we didn't either) and like the accommodations (we did), then Sonic is a great choice. I think the arch says, "SONIC!" The only problem is that when tying up and crossing boats, it can be difficult but if you really like the arch, you get over it.

Frank Marchone at AllPro is the man to talk to about Sonics in this area. We bought two of the three Sonics from him. Wonderful man to deal with.

Good luck in your search!

You know somehow a while back, I wondered if a Sonic was what you were really looking for! Weird Vu Deja thing going on here... The arch and large size accomodations and of course, the ride. Getting closer is cool huh?

I helped a buddy pick up a new boat this weekend too. Got me all kinds of excited! Hooked it up to my Boat Yankin Tank and took it straight to the lake. He went from an 18' V-6 Bowrider to an '89 Wellcraft 26' Nova Spyder with twin 454's. 250 hours on the boat! Super clean and runs great.

Like the choices of tunes too dude! I'm getting a few years on my belt, but I love the new rock. Oldies just don't hack it... heard them all too much I guess.

Good Luck of course too! Wahoooo!

Scott, yeah getting closer is more fun.
Visited Tom tonight at the sonic factory, (Doller Offshore)
He showed me another 38 but it was too expensive.
He does have a supercharged 42 with headers in my price range he thinks so he will be calling about that one tomorrow and letting me know.
This mo fo has XR's on it!!!!!!!
ummm also does 90 as per the owner
we will umm see about that.
500 EFI's with Prochargers on them. And it has an arch and it is urethera pink with an aluminum trailer.
Sounds like this one I dont have to do a damn thing to , just put the plug in, dunk it and go!
Who knows, maybe I can finish my boat this weekend with the steering stuff, trim rams are being done by the marina, get an oil tank resorvoir for the one drive, drop off my last panel for Mindi at Doller to make me a new one for the rocker switches on the dash and a few more gauges and my boat is DONE!
(unless I airbrush it if I feel like playing around)
Then its time to trade it in.

well that is what THEY said, GPS the thing and then Ill tell you.
and with twin 600's I dont know about 90.
GLH's cig 42 tiger has 600 sc's in it, he is not hitting 90.
Dunno, maybe sonic is lighter than cig?

Urethera pink, that is from years of painting engines pink and other things on my boat pink.
That is from 2001-2000 time frame is all, its an old joke.

Does anyone have a picture of the barbie urethera pink paint can that was used to describe the color?
If so post it up

Hi Jay,

I've been reading about your saga forever, I think, two years now - started on the other forum. I've been a lurker and have just begun to post. My 2 cents - I'm from NJ and I'm assuming that you made out really well on the PA house sale. My advice - buy a house and the boat will take care of itself. First things first!
