welcome to south florida LOL
strange to drive through a trailer park only to find 3 million dollar homes on the other side of them.
Very weird.
Just got back tonight from Miami and the keys and they can keep it. :D I am more than happy to put up with the winters in the midwest and then boat in the summer with Performance boats at LOTO. I saw nothing but fishing boats until the races and in Miami one Cig. I still prefer LOTO for powerboats but the wife loves the beaches and I had to drag her back to the mid west.

Jay,
I live in Pittsburgh and know the blue sonic. We were in the same marina last year. I've run in poker runs with it. It blew by me and I was doing 72 on my gps. I met the guy that owns it once, but don't really know him. If you'd like some pics of it and my opinion of it , not that it's worth that much, lol. Let me know.
Mike

NJ Thumper, Yes I did well with the sale of the house up north, BUT the money I netted from the house sale my wife is investing, Not going to use that for a boat.
I have been saving money for a long time for something bigger and well, now that Im down here, its time.
Dont worry the house will come but I want to make sure my wife is cool with it down here and that I am as well before I go getting a house.
I did the home equity loan before and this time for personal reasons, I want to keep the boat separate from the house in that if I ever want to sell the house in the future either to upgrade houses or move to another area ect ect ect then the boat would have to be paid off right then and there.
when I bought the baja, it was not that expensive. I have more in parts and engines in the baja than I did with the purchase price.
Now we are talking some REAL big money with this purchase so I feel that if I can keep both separate I will be better off.
GoFast34, HELL YEAH tell me your opinion and post up some pics of it, That is the best shot of it I have seen yet.
That actually looks freakin awesome. So its got some GO GO in it huh?
Powerboat mag did an article in June 03 I think of the 45 SS with trip 500 EFI's and the boat did 85 GPS
so I figure the 42 would be a touch faster, 86-87??
Thats plenty for me.

Thanks BD, Formula is not my cup of tea though.
If they would change their windshields to a fairing im sure I would like them more.
Windshield makes them look like a cruiser though
Yikes it has a windlass, If that were mine, That would come off before the boat got in the driveway.
LOL
Thanks though but at this point wife and I are stuck on sonics.
BD, Find me a sonic bro!

whatever looks decent.
Of course trying to buy the newest one i can that I like and has decent power in it.
the one in Dania is 96 HP Twin 500 HP's
One in MD is 95 twin 500 MPI's 415 HP's
one in Pittsburgh is 94 Trip 500 HP's
One in Lighthouse point is 96 Twin 500 EFI's Procharged

So far the one in pittsburgh has the most options, GPS chartplotter, new engines, ac/heat generator Myco ect everything you would need to do the weekend in the keys with the wife.
The one in Lighthouse point FL, is the fastest of the bunch being Procharged 500 EFI's with XR drives and heard from a few people it is VERIFIED over 90 (thats some major speed out of a floating home!!!)

Jay, I am just a little south of Pittsburgh, go up almost every other weekend. I know it has already been offered but if for any reason you would need for me to go take a look and snap off pictures for you I would be more than pleased.

Tim, Thanks SO much, they look great, well the back of the boat
SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF is all that gunk floating up to the back of it?
Dude, someone needs a big skimmer for that river!

I could not tell, the water is so murkey, the rain jsut never seems to stop. All i could see was just the top part of the tie bar for the drives. I tried to get a better pic of under the swim platfrom but it was hard holding the camera up under it and trying not to fall in.

well all the pics are fantastic and I really appreciate the help!
The boat Liq-her came up for sale yesterday down here in boca so I might take a look at that one.
It has twin 500HP's in it. I dont think it has a trailer but that boat here is cheaper than the one up there but I dont know the condition.
Have some comparing to do.
That first shot you sent almost gave me a heart attack wtih the mufflers.
Never saw anything like that before in my life.
Thats 4500 bones to replace all 3 pairs of mufflers on that thing!!!
