After spinning a prop hub and having to call Seatow, I decided it was finally time to keep some tools and parts onboard. Here's what I put together:

-basic socket and ratchet kit
-pliers
-needlenose pliers
-vice grips
-channel locks
-ball peen hammer (along with punch for driving out spun hubs)
-punch
-rags
-electrical tape
-flathead and phillips screwdrivers
-2 cresent wrenchs
-Safety wire
-spare prop hub and seawater impeller

The only problem is it weighs 13lbs, which is probably bad for a 23' boat. What tools and parts do you consider essential to have onboard?

spare props
Spare hub
Needle nose plyers
3/8 rachet and socket set
spark plug rachet and socket with extension and swivel
3 different size pairs of plyers
vice grips
flat and phillips screw drivers
3 million candle power flash light/search light
ball peen hammer
punch
electrical tape
extra 40 feet of red and black wire
butt end connectors
wire strippers
1/2 inch rachet and just a few 1/2 inch sockets in select sizes for stubborn bolts that you might not be able to undo with the 3/8
Pry bar
extra belts and hoses (generic hose for a blown hose on an exhaust manifold ect from HD few bucks to "get me home"
Extra 16 spark plugs
Few extra spark plug wires
extra bolts and nuts and washers assorted.

Jay,
How large is your "support" boat. You know, the one that carries ALL THOSE FREAKIN TOOLS!!
But really, I carry a nice sized tool box FULL of essential tools, plus spare impeller, spare belt (serpentine), extra quart of oil and of course....a spare prop!

She is going to be in my possession for next few months until I work the bugs out of it, Get it running better than any baja 280 out there and reliable.
Once it is in Prime tip top shape THEN Ill sell it.
Just sunk 5 thousand bucks into stuff for it, its getting airbrushed over the next few weeks, whoever is LUCKY ENOUGH to buy it is going to get one slammin deal cause I promise you It will be faster than your outlaw brother!
