What is it about boaters ? These adds crack me up !
All v bottom boats are "Cigarettes" ,
all boats (that are slow) do "70 mph" ,
All others do 100+ ,
all boats are bigger then what the boat actualy has written on the side of it ,
they all have the best ride out there ,
they are all built with the best materials ,
all sport boats are "high performance racing boats " and lots are even world champions ....... and on and on and on .......
Anyone have any to add to this ?

Wouldn't you think that if a guy is selling a larger boat or more expensive boat ,that it might be an experienced boater that is looking at it . So why say dumb things in your adds ? :laugher: You look like a fool !
How many times do you see people commenting on these types of adds on ebay and such ,that are so rediculous (but funny ) ..

Here are a few tips ( just my opinion ) ....

when you are selling
a boat :

1) Look at your title , It might not really be a "Cigarette " like your add says !

2) Look on the side of the boat , if it says 280, it is not 30 FEET ! ,If it says 340, It is not 38 FEET !

3) if you are going to commment on mechanical parts of the boat ,and their functions , make sure you know what you are talking about ! It makes your boat look bad when you say dumb things that everyone else knows is wrong ....

Disclaimer This was all ment in fun . I am not putting anyone down . I just find the whole thing funny ! :p:

Boat shoppign is like reading the funny paper some times ! :laugher:

rogue2800, Yours only does 200 ? :( , You should try a can of octane booster ! ;) I just put some "Marval mystery oil " in my fork llift ...... I think the guy said it would double the lifting capacity ...

BY the way , when I measure my boat to sell it ( since it doesn't have a size printed on it ) do I messure all the way to the prop nut on the arneson drives ? Oh and what about the front ? Do I start at the trailer hitch or at the winch ? Thanks for the help ! Joe :alien:

Or, pull the ladder straight out from the swim platform and measure to the end of the ladder, that gives ya an extra 2 1/2 ft. or so. Then add 50 mph to top end 'cause of less drag. On my 23 Nova that works out to about 28 ft. LOA and 130 mph. Not bad for a humble little Nova :)
