Since I was in the market for a Sonic a short time ago, I had spoken with the factory several times.
Late last week, I recieved a call from a fella at the Sonic factory who said the old crew there had all been replaced by new people, top to bottom.

I believe the 47 mold already belongs to someone else, so does that mean that sonic will be getting the 41 mold? Or does that belong to someone else also?
Interesting either way.
Details, Details, Details..............................
Don't leave us hanging.

With the hiring of a new crew, hopefully quality won't go
down the drain. Seems like you'd want to keep the same people laying up the hulls, painting, rigging, etc. if
possible. They are the ones that are used to building those boats and doing the same job day in and day out.
Lets hope this is a change for the good. I'd hate to see
a reputable company take a change for the worse.

They didnt hire a whole new crew,

What happened was they closed(for the most part) the Hollywood Facility, and moved to Jupiter into the Dakota facility, using Dakota's Labor Force(trained by Sonic, on their infusion process), Hollywood employees were offered jobs in Jupiter, but it is a he!! of a commute, so most didnt take the offer, therefore Sonic/Dakota had to hire some replacements. The infusion process has very tight QC, and Sonics are semi-custom boats therefore the rigging is not identical on all boats to begin with, so I dont see a problem with quality.
