We the last few days have really tried my patience.
Sunday I was finally able to put the boat in and while going around the point from the ramp into my cove to pick-up my wife at the dock my oil cooler developed an internal leak and turned my syn. oil into toothpaste. I managed to get to my dock where I was able to trouble shoot the problem. Got dark, could not get a tow so boat sits.
Monday rains all day! Tues, have to get boat out and have arranged for tow. Funnel cloud is sighted at other side of lake and delays attemps to remove boat. Finally get a few dry mins. at dusk. So get boat out and start flushing. 25 gallons of barney oil later and without oil cooler boat is ready to go back to lake.
Wed the rain lets up. Off to the lake I go. Launch the boat, dock at courtsy dock and move tow rig. Get back to boat and head around point and blow outdrive. Busted upper cap.
