Cigarette Racing Team™ Launches Entry-Level Boat - The 30’ Vice

What if you don’t have the space or budget for a 36-46’ powerboat, but you still yearn for the best of the best—a Cigarette? Cigarette Racing Team now has the answer--a 30’ Vice.

“Though larger boats account for the majority of our sales, we always recognized the distinct market for an entry-level Cigarette,” says Skip Braver, President and CEO, “That need had formerly been filled by the used boat market, but now, there are just not many used Cigarettes for sale. This 30’ Vice is the ideal way to get into a Cigarette for under $200,000--and it also meets our dealers’ requests for smaller lake boats.”

The 30’ Vice is still every bit a hand-built Cigarette—with a twin-step bottom, race lay-up lamination, race-rigging and top-quality upholstery featuring new bolster seats. Powered by twin Mercury 496 HO engines with Bravo 1XR drives, the Vice has hydraulic steering, an electric door to the “Cover Girl” cabin and a sound system. The cockpit is newly designed, featuring Mercury SmartCraft™, a Garmin GPS system and Livorsi gauges. The standard paint design, featuring the new Cigarette script logo on the deck, comes in an assortment of colors and is the first Cigarette to come painted from the factory. The Vice will be available but production will be limited as the company accommodates the dealer and customer demand for bigger boats with big power.

“This is the ideal first Cigarette,” says Neill Hernandez, Executive VP, who designed the boat to use big boat technology in a smaller size. “The Vice satisfies a new customer’s desire and offers a way for people who own other brands to step up gradually and safely into a better, higher-quality powerboat. We’re proud to open the doors at Cigarette to a customer who wants it all, but just wants it in a smaller size,” he adds.

The 30’ Vice will be introduced at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 28-November 1 at the Floating Docks behind Bahia Mar.

No comment on the cig thing, to each his own I guess, just don't be looking down yer nose at me!

Dave wants to trade both boats in for the one. I hope he knows what he's doing. That Baja of his is smoking, that's right kids - It's a rockin B brand.

They did a lot right on that thing, and from what he says, he'd only get 5 mph on the cig (That's what they say, anyway.)
