Same Here ..Dec is tabu for termination unless you really F.U.and If its costing me money. or someone is stealing or disrespecting me !! Thats my policy ..After the 1st of the year is my vote.. but any time sucks, I don't like doing it either worse part of my job! As time has gone on I have taken it less personaly each time and distance myself from my personal realationships with my employees..Just in case!! ,I have a small company w/8 employees so I guess thats the hardest part.. Do what you need to do to CYA! :unhappy1:

Well glad you got thru it ok and it's now over. So on with the stories.............My dad years ago owned a tire store and fired a guy, the next day the fellows wife called an told dad he was an SOB, dad told her "thats right and don't ever forget it". I still laugh about that.

The new secretary has alot to learn, but she is getting it! because I have my accountant teacher her how to use Simple Acounting, I have learnt along with her. I now know every little thing about my acounting software!
