Sales and Project management for structural and plate steel fabrication. It's a small place so I sometimes do the drafting and purchasing for my projects, in my spare time I oversaw the developement of our Quality Control program, and look at the internet. :D

Weedwackers/blenders

I do marketing and dealer support in FL.
Lots of travel, but I'm on the water 3+ days/week.

I also get involved in the production of our TV propaganda. Seen the new Evinrude infomercial? I'm the one clearly out of control in the red center console, and I'm also the lucky guy sittin in the back seat of the Ocean Hawk, with a hot babe on each arm... :D
I do a lot of testing and data gathering with the Applications Engineers as well.

But you keep busy

I feel your pain brotha'! I was part of a three man office that had no Servive Manager because they couldn't keep up with us.

We made good - okay great - $$$ but the stress and hours pushed us out.

I have many stories to tell, as you, but here's one of my favorites.

A couple drops off their trade in and starts driving home in their new AWD Jeep.

They have a flat before they get home. Bad luck - what a bummer!

They pull out the spare and swap it for the flat. Thank goodness the sale rep showed them where this stuff was.

They continued home trying not to let that incident urk them and then - Whack - Boom - Smack. Car stops going, but engine still runs.

Just over 30 miles on the new 35,000 SUV and it has to be towed in.

Seems the spare tire for these where the small little donuts. 3 16" truck type tires + one little donut + AWD = broken parts.

Bigger issue - the donut came in the side cubby hole covered by plastic trim that was only big enough for the donut. Where to put the regular size tire that needs to be the spare ? In the way back? Uh, oh !!!

One of my last straws. Anyway, if you have been doing this for a while you probably heard of it - not that it's a Dodge, but it is a sister company.

I'm an engineer at GM currently working on passenger airbag suppression systems. Occasionally take a vette for ride through the proving grounds with my buddy Bailey, but mostly sit in front of the stupid computer.

We have started a picture framing business out of the house and I shoot a wedding here and there with my photography business. Hopefully this summer I can get some boat photography going.

I design stuff that makes life more comfortable. Principal Professional Engineer at a consulting engineering firm specializing in design of HVAC/electrical/plumbing/data/tele/fire alarm/security/etc. The stress level is almost beyond belief at times. Life is driven by deadlines and everybody wants to sue me.
