Insuring a boat w/o power????

Need insurance on a boat purchased minus power - any suggestions? Can't find anyone willing.

I need insurance for a loan and the loan value is less than 50% of the value of the boat/trailer. Anyone go through this before? There's gotta be something!

This wouldn't be for a 29' would it?????
I gave all the suggestions I could think of to someone here at work last friday, for that exact same question.

ya actually it is for a 29' Phantom. Do you know the boat? What was your suggestions?

I'm thinking it'll be easier to get a loan for my wrangler (paid off) for now but the rates are 2% higher.

HOMEOWNER? You could re-finance. Just a thought.
Total Dollar & World Wide are the major performance insurers.
Maybe try, state farm, progressive, boat US..............

cant you just tell them what you will have in there? Make them think its got power? If anything was to happen to the boat they will obviously see ithas nothing in there and you can say you were re-powering.......about all i can think of
