You must be a Rusty Wallace Fan, the King of CRYING!! Funny, I have not heard Jr or Stewart cry at all this year, actually, I have never heard of anyone until you call Jr. a whiner!! You must be throwing chit out to try to piss off a certain female here because Jr. whinig/crying could not be farther from the truth.

You are wrong on every point in this statement. First I am not a Rusty Fan. I think he is a whiner as well. I am a Mark Martin fan (who just happens to be the most respected driver by his peers on the track). He is a class act all the way. Second, as far as trying to piss off a certain female you are so far off base. She doesn't even like Nascar. She is not into it so it makes no difference to her. Third, Jr. is a whiner. You must hang with the wrong crowd or under a rock if you have never heard someone say this. He lost alot of respect with people when he treated (and still does) Waltrip his teammate like crap. Telling him to get his act together or he is gone, etc... Waltrip is twice the guy Jr. is. (driver and man). Jr. is nothing like his old man. I was never a Dale E. fan, but I respected his toughness and his desire to win. He didn't cry about things, he just came back the next week and did what he had to correct the wrong from the week before. Jr. would rather excuse or blame his problems on someone else. Others opinions vary and I am fine with that. Keep trying maybe at some point you will be right.

As far as trucks, your truck choice is yours. I am just glad I am not you.

Ya, my concern was how the flames would look. The flames are actually a $700.00 option and I was concerned they'd make a $70k truck look hoakey. The truck is a limited edition and there's only so many allocated for various regions. It happend that the dealer I use had an F250 model in stock and was the only one in Ontario but I wanted an F350 with more options, (sunnroof, etc.) But the flames are Toreadore red and are very dark. On their website they claim they used a new paint process (wet blending or something) that blends the flames with the rest of the paint. You actually have to look real close to see them and it's really cool how they're blended. Looks real sharp. They go the entire length of the rocker panels. Their pictures on the web etc. are photoshopped, which actually makes them look worse but I'm sure the camera doesn't pick them up well for marketing collateral.

GFD,

Should have driven down here. A local dealer by me had (has) 3 of those for sale for some time. Could not sell them. I bet you could get a great price on them.

He might still have them 'cause when you net it out they're pretty expensive for a pickup. I couldn't buy a US truck anyway because of the metric thing, etc. But my concern was that it had every option. I always order my trucks for peace of mind I guess. As far as the deal went, a good friend of mine is the Frod Regional Manager for Eastern Canada. He puts me on the A-plan which is employee pricing. We actually speced the truck out at a bar one night then all I did was bring the order to the dealer for processing and confirmation on the specs. I save about 12k off the sticker price.

I was wondering what the issues would be with the metric you talk of? What would be different? The speedo has both on it I believe. What else?

They were priced pretty good. not much more than a loaded F350. The wheels, graphics, seats covers what else is on them different? Nice truck. They had the Blue flame and the red flame. They also had the red/orange Harley one.

Actually the metric thing isn't a real big deal but it would be enough to bug me. On the speedo, bigger numbers on the outside of the dial vs inside. The rest of the electronic readouts can be adjusted through flicking a switch. Other things like daytime running lights in Canada, etc.

Some other opitons were power sliding rear window, moonroof, 15k trailer hitch, stability package, and a few other things I forget. The Harley package, though is much more than a loaded f350. The additional items on it are a ton of things. The list I have is a full page of items, too numerous to mention here but things like carbon fibre in places, Harley logo in windshield, wheel hubs, seats, etc., chrome lumber adjustment knobs, chrome tow hooks, special grill, a bunch of things that tricks it out nice.

Now, we have to keep this nice!! :D Jr. treat Waltrip like crap?!?!?! Thats a good one!! It was not Jr. that made the decision for waltrip to perform or be gone. Jr. does not make those calls at D.E.I. That is all I will say, obviously we diagree on this, which is cool, that is what makes life fun! :D

As far as your last cooment, you are glad you are not me... uncalled for!!

I just ordered an '05 F350 Harley edition, diesel, etc. It's being built and will be ready for beginning of April. I've always had Fords, (5 so far) mainly because I have a buddy in the biz who treats me well. I just like teasing my buddies who have other brands. But I think all trucks in general (and I didn't mean GM, 1WB) have really come a long way.
A friend of a friend has one.... its an awesome truck....his is a diesel.... the interior is spectacular... best of luck with it....

Thanks GRH, I ordered the diesel too. But that picture? Lalalala, I'm trying to get that out of my mind.
:banghead:
A buddy of mine towed my boat this summer with his 350 PS diesel.... it was an "awakening" for me.... easy to see why guys buy diesels if they tow alot.... I'm more like the "Soccer Mom's" with the 1/2 ton that tows occasionally... but I drive it to work everyday in a suit & tie... so its a compromise.... I'd love a 3/4 to with a diesel... but I can't justify it with the small amount of towing I do..... Here's my "Harley" Dodge edition :D
