If you look in the LOTO area, you can find several 29 Outlaw's that have singles. Not sure of the price range but you would have all that you are looking for. They stopped making them this year I believe.

I agree on the Sun 288 and the Nordic Heat, 2 great looking boats.

288 sunsation
28 checkmate

Don't know much about the others. Bajas seem heavy for the lengths in comparison. If your looking for the biggest single engine boat that can still be safely pulled w/ a 1/2 ton truck/suv, and achieve 65-70mph GPS w/o a blower, the two above definitely work.

288 sunsation midcabin!a distant 2nd 29 profile ,3rdjump up 2 feet back in early ninetys black thunder made a 32', big thunder marine in LOTO had 1 w/ single 502 w/ an awesome seating arangement pefect for partying or a small harim!would of been a cool boat w a 1200 hp sterling sitting under the hatch! :D

That would be a helluva combo, but I'm guessing with Merc's pricing you could get twin 496 Mag HO's for the same or less money....
That single Dominator would be way cool! And that's the only way I'd own one... if it were a single.

The 30Y2k Superboat is a winner too! Krakmeup's 30 runs a real GPS 74.1 mph with a stock 496HO and a stock Bravo 1 26 prop.

Do you still have that TimG? THought you sold it? Plus you have big twins, not supposed to go there..
Yeah, I sold it awhile ago....
Just sayin' Pantera 28... They build singles too buddy.. ;)
A single 600 would be perfect in there.

The 30 Superboat is an exceptional value. You can get into one set up decently for under 60k.

I looked at many of the boats these guys are talking about and I ended up with the checkmate 253 convincor biggest cuddy in a 25 ft and with the 502 reworked by the former owner it is an honest 75 mph boat. The kplanes drive setback and hydr steering make this boathandle 3-4 footers at 60 mph with no problems. I know a stock setup would not run this well . Setup of any boat has a lot to do with the way any boat handles the rough water
