I had a hell of a time finding insurance for my Donzi Blackhawk. My agent had 9 different companies and not one would touch it. Ended up going through farmers and it was dirt cheap. They ended up getting out of marine insurance and transfered me to Foremost. I would call Foremost and see what they quote you.

I have had State Farm for so long for everything that I do not even shop around. All my vehicles are on their gaurinteed renewal policies. And the all important umbrella policy........

I can insure a Chrysler Caravan or a Corvette for the same price. Ok, I will be dead before a lot of you but I DO HAVE GOOD CREDIT AND INSURANCE RATES???? wtf???

Greg at Worldwide Marine Underwriters will get it done.

Here is the number 800-339-1235

Let me know if I can help

Try Progressive Direct at www.progressive.com. You can do it online and tweak your coverage. Saved me money and I even disclosed the repower. They won't touch a single engine that has a "disclosed" power rating of more than 500HP. Note, I said "disclosed" and I have "custom" power. :D

I also max'd limits and increased value on mine. Still saved about $100 a year. Easy to do and cheaper online using Direct. A friend is an Agent and quoted me about $50 higher and told me Direct was cheaper and to go with it.

Well, that will definitely get you cheaper insurance. But insuring a caravan at the same price as a corvette? If a caravan gets into an accident how much will it cost to fix? If a corvette gets into the same accident how much will it cost to fix? A LOT more. Now thake into the fact that the corvette is a sprstscar and capable of much higher speeds. Charging the same permiums for those two vehicles wouldn't make much sense!

The major expense in auto insurance is for liability not repair to your vehicle. Your driving record is the best indication to the insurance company of your risk to them, not the car you drive. Today (it changes monthly) I own 6 cars/trucks and two boats. My insurance premium including homeownwers and flood insurance and my umbrella policy is less than $900/month. And this is with teenage drivers in the house!

Except my 19 year old, they want $6500 a year to insure him with minimum coverage, can we all say BICYCLE!!!!

Yep, here too. We've got 3 car's/trucks and the boat. The boat is just over $500 now. The auto is only about $2100 a year and that's for a '05 Pacifica, '04 Excursion and '98 Volvo and the Volvo is the highest I believe. I know it's higher than the new Pacifica. And we have coverages max'd there too. Need to sell the Volvo and drop that one!

But hey, I remember paying $2100 a year for my 2nd Z28 when I was about 18-19 years old and that was the early 80's. Clean record, thanks to a good traffic Lawyer. :laugher:

Go to www.jacksonmarinesales.com click on Insurance Stephanie handles all the insurance there and she will take good care of you. I have my insurance with her and she gets me the best rates IMO :D Tell her the Undertaker told you to call and she will charge you double :laugher: :laugher: just kidding. If I can help you out anymore let me know. Good luck.

In my teenage years I dated a girl whose father was a bail bondsman, his wife had a Mercedes 450SL. For every ticket he got fixed the 450 got detailed, man that was one shiny 450SL!!!!!!!!!

They lived across the street and the girl liked Tequila! Lime, Salt, warm belly......................still miss her!
