On your way to the Lake of the Ozarks

This photo was taken in Lineville, MO...YES the side SOUTH of the Iowa border...I don't want anyone getting confused.

These good ol boys were having a little bond fire right behind the fireworks store. WITHIN 15 FEET I kid you NOT!!! Worst part was, they were throwing fireworks and bottle rockets into the fire...they were shooting across the street and landing on the buildings.

BRILLIANT!

Back when we lived near Seattle Wa. we actually lived within the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation. The highway up to where we lived was at the time (now there is a huge casino, hotel etc...) wide open. The tribe did not have all the rules about fireworks etc and built lots of sales stands on both sides of the highway. Now this is within a quarter mile of my house! Every year they would at least once (more than once usually) get into a fireworks war between stands. They would be shooting fireworks across the highway etc... fireworks stands exploding yada yada yada..... The fire department that the non-indians paid for would respond but just stood around and let the stands burn up, they were there just to protect surrounding homeowners and people on the highway (as it should be!!!) We would walk out and watch, after all it was the best fireworks show of the year!!!

I really wish that I had pictures of it........ :unhappy1:

ADOPT A HIGHWAY

When I went to LOTO in 2003, we saw a roadside sign in southern Missouri that read:
ADOPT A HIGHWAY
Next 2 miles adopted by
Knights of Columbus Chapter of
KU KLUX KLAN

I have a photo of it somewhere. And no, they are not racists in Missouri..... :)

Sweet - they could tie knots in the sleeves of their sheets and use them for garbage bags...but how could they walk when they are in the bad themselves?

Edit - how much white trash can you put in one of those?
