thanks bill. when dealing factory direct , do you "dicker" like you would with a dealer ?

I never talked price with Renegade, but I was working with Velocity factory direct and yes I did dicker, too much though. I want the best price up front, don't keep calling me with lower prices for 3 weeks... Personally, I would rather work with a REPUTABLE dealer then factory direct.

I know Johno well. Yes, you can dicker with them, and they will basically make the boat any way you want. Johno said the whole buying experience was a real pleasure, and he has no regrets at all. And he loves his boat. :)

Dealing with Renegade actually made feel there was hope for the boating industry in general. Price negotiation...definately yes. No middle man to bump up the $$ & I had an almost hands on involvement as my boat was built. They went way beyond my expectations. The crazy part was most of the deal was done on a hand shake. I could go on forever :) , If you are in the market for CC on the 30/36' range, take the time to talk with them. Almost 50 hours so far & very happy. Maintenance is minimal & cleaning up at the end of the day is easy. As for a dealer network, O/B warranty is through Merc & when I needeed to patch a chip in the Gelcoat, one phone call & I had a pint of Gelcoat at my door in 3 days, no charge.

thanks cuda and johno. no dealer network, is not an issue , just want to be sure i understand the "game" before i try to play it. $$$$$ will be more important than ever this time around for me :( if you get a chance to snap more interior shots , from cabin to the driver seat mounting hardware , it would be appreciated. their website is lacking. thanks and enjoy :D

Gps, I consistently see high 60's with full load. 4-6 adults plus coolers e.t.c. 250gals of gas. You do burn some fuel at full throttle, however this last weekend in good water I was seeing a cruise of 45 @ 4000rpm & 50 @ 4400rpm. loaded & 5 adults. 4000rpm = 16/17 gal an hour per motor. The 250 efi are known to be pretty thristy. Running Throttle Up Hydromotive Quad 4 25", non labbed.
