They run pretty damn good. 75 speedo, 72ish gps. (I've got a pic somewhere) Very consistant. I've got 496 mags. Freshwater lake, 750' above sea level. Mag HO's will run 3-4 more so I've heard. Base 6.2's are probably high 60's. They are coming down in price, probably good time to pick one up. Good luck.

Pretty sure HO's with the right water and load, will run 79 GPS.

I've seen 77.8 with a very heavy load last summer.

Wife wants to downsize ...
Saleen367, are you serious about your wife wanting to downsize? That thing looks awsome, do whatever you have to man to change her mind. What reasons does she give for wanting to go smaller?

I hear ya man ... :(

She never wanted the 30. Thought it was overkill, too much $$ and liked our 25 just fine.

We trailer and she holds the boat when I back it in. She has her hands full when it comes off the trailer and rightfully so. It weighs more than it looks like it should.

That and the monthly payment has her begging to go back to a 25.
I've told her I would list it on boattrader for a few months and go from there.

I'm hoping we don't get any bites. :bandit:

Bruce,
never really intended it to be a plug to sell the boat.

In all honesty, I think the 30 is a hard sell to begin with. Most places can't move them including Hawkeye in IA, Baja's largest dealer.

Why?

I have a couple hunches, but opinions are like a-holes, everybody has one. :laugher:

Can't help you with the payments but I can give her some advice when it comes time for unloading. My wife handles our 302 by tieing a longer line from the bow to the rear and loops it over the pilings as I back in .Works good, shes a small girl and was pretty nervous this year with a larger boat also, last year was a 24 footer.
