Sweet Stuff! 1 more week for me till I splash.. I did go out boating this past weekend. Hung out at the salt ponds and buckroe beach, went to the bridge tunnel Sunday and hung out at the pool again at Salt ponds.. Fun and relaxing weekend among friends and family..

Saturday was pretty much a washout in So. Jersey :( .
Sunday had plans to take a co-worker of my wife and her husband out. Weather was rather nasty looking but the radar on the Weather Channel looked good so they left their two kids home and off we went at 1pm. Sky cleared somewhat and it turned into a pretty nice day. Ran into fellow member Big Old Stringer...Hi again Kevin , nice meeting you , just as it started to sprinkle a bit. Rain lasted all of 5 minutes if that. Ran back up the river a ways and stopped for refeshments , the headed back to the marina just in time to pull out at dead low water :( . Thank goodness the ramp isn't too bad.
Best part was had a chance to try out the new torsion axles on the trailer. Smoother , quieter ride than the old creeky squeeky leaf springs AND ran 57 miles in the boat and didn't break anything so that makes for an over all GREAT weekend :D

Very good week-end.

Put both boats in.

Ran easy on the new motor.

Ran the old one at WFO the whole time.

Ran from two cops shining their blues.

Came back in and past the same two again farther out.

Figured out why they where so close to each other and that neither gave me much of a chase.

One was broke - the other was towing it. :laugher: :laugher: :laugher: :laugher:
