All, It is with great sadness that we must bid farewell to these two beautiful people. I agree, they looked to be very much in love with each other and life itself. Sad occasions are a stark reminder to me that life is so fragile, and a conversation my wife and I had one evening with our eldest daughter, now a sophmore in college. We have always been a very close family, always hugging one another just to say goodnight. She was growing out of this she thought. I simply told her that in my current hazardous occupation (airline) and my long drives to work, I never knew which day might be my last and I never wanted any of them to question my love for them, so I always wanted to leave them the night before with a big hug and kiss, with the knowledge that I loved them. She has now grown back into the hugging and loving child I knew before.
If you haven't hugged your child or kissed the love of your life, I highly recommed you get back in the practice, we will never be able to know when we will not have the opportunity to do it again. These are the invaluable lessons people like the McLenna's teach us without our knowing.
God Speed McLenna's! My family's prayers are with the families for their loss. I am sure they know they were all loved dearly.
