RC boats are cool, growing up my step had at least 5 or 6 that he raced in a club , he had a hydroplane that had to of been 3 1/2 ' long that did 50 mph or so it was a replica of miss tempo a race boat from the 70's my uncle had miss circus circus , enjoy!

You`re a BLOWBOATER now....Hah !!!

Just do us a favor. If you are out enjoying your RC boat on a local pond and there happens to be another person there with a powerboat style RC boat, please do not bitch about him creating a wake or getting too close to your blow boat ! :D :D :D
Are you gonna sip a little wine while playing with your boat? :D

RC boats are a blast. My son has a Cigarette Tiger RC boat. We take it out in the boat with us. We like running it out in the middle of the lake, where the "rough stuff" is. You should see it jump the waves !

ENJOY !!! :)

My New Boat was last year (a real 3 footer including swim platform by todays standards!)! New Graphics this year! Not a Blow Boat by any means. Twin surface drives each driven by it's own 14V water cooled motor. These motors can draw up to 30amps. 22mph in all water conditions. The V-hull is 24 degrees and launches great over all waves real boats make on the river. The drives can be set at any trim angle you want to run. I need to get some in-water pictures because she sits like a real offshore boat. My daughter provided the driver for this beast. Great entry level performance toy, Mike.

Yeh, I figured someone would make this accusation!

I already have the RC Airplanes, the RC Off Road Trucks, the RC On Road Trucks and Cars and the RC Speedboats. :)

And yes I have owned Full Size Sail Boats! But they have all been Performance Racing BlowBoats. Single-hull and cats. This is my first RC Sail Boat and it is a Performance Olympic Soling One design.

No complaints, no wine! Speed, Speed, Speed!

DonMan , we've been pushed out from the city ponds by development  . I may have to join the blow boaters myself  :D .here are some shots of my 46" prather from the early 80's. Built a dependable arneson drive for it with a pioneer chainsaw engine , converted to water cooling.Notice no fancy paintjobs back then :laugher:

Here's a pic of one of my on-road trucks. I ran out of talent, spun and was smacked by a truck behind me. :(

Ouch!! What scale is the truck??
Cool truck. I like alot. :D
Scale is 1/10. It is a Kyosho PureTen Spyder. Kyosho discontinued it years ago, but it is still one of my favorites. Can not get parts anymore so I have been making my own to keep it running.

I had a boat a long time ago that was electric, but I just never could get any speed out of it. Thats when I decided to do the electric cars and trucks. Had quite a few and now I have the T-Maxx and that thing is a blast
