Buy a Timex. Put your money on a bigger badder boat. You can't spemnd a weekend on a watch... ;)
Back in the early 70's I dropped my Timex in the lake. Six months later when the water had dropped (irrigation) I found the watch in the mud. Cleaned it off, wound it, I still have it and it works great!

Once you find a watch you like, contact the maker and enquire about the seller and warranty.

I got a deal on-line...took it to a local dealer... bought the blue sub locally for that price i neg. online... he was very negotiable, and I felt good with a local purchase, deal was better than expected from a local guy

Yep! But then again we had real muscle cars that you did not need a certication and over $100,000 epuipment to work on it. :D :D :D

I would rather wind my watch and be able to buy a new muscle car off the lot.

My uncle is a watch freak. He just bought a 1968 Omega thats all original, never been opened. Its the watch they used on the moon. He belongs to some high end watch forum. They have tons of classifieds, Ill look
Those omega moon's are sweet.

I have a Tag Heuer Ocean Racer and I love it.

Instead of putting 5 grand down for a watch i'd buy boat stuff instead.

Buy a Omega or a Tag and forget about the bling... :p:

unless your wearing this, im not impressed.

No doubt. I did the same thing with my ocean racer tag. bought local. they matched the price I found on line. They had to order it and after I bought it they did the appraisal at $1295.00 for insurance purpose. :p:

I found another seller that looks promising. I'm going to call them tonight (day time for most of you) for some more details, but these prices are $1000 less than everyone else I've found for brand-new.
The "seller" link in this message goes to a site with Trojan Viruses embedded. :angry1: :angry1: Be careful!
