I thought it was a great deal also. I got lucky. Was at the Cleveland boat show and was looking at a new one and the G.M. wanted my Harley for bike week and I couldn't swing a new one at that time. Called a couple of weeks later to see if they had a used one and the guy that owned mine just traded up on a .38 special. Just got in and bike week was fast approaching so the deal was made. I doubt I will ever run across a deal like that again. Hopefully when I am ready to upgrade something that nice will happen again!

I am like you, when I want it I want it now. I had been searching for a long time and had a few offers out there when this happened. I almost didn;t call them. Good guy to work for if you want his name let me know. They are in Pittsburg

60+ for the 23 Outlaw? That's absolutely crazy. I'll say it again, that's crazy. You could easily find a 25 for under 50k with HO power. Like I said before, the 25 cabin is like night and day compared to the 23.

Nice A/T. I love those boats. 500 Carb, wonder if the top end has been gone thru?? They had that valve spring deal

Oh by the way, my wife and yours are complete opposites :laugher: Like Superman and the Bizarreo world Superman. :laugher:

does the 23 have the two couches facing each other like the 25?
No. The cuddy is level with the floor of the cockpit. The one cusion pops out, and the potti is forward of that. Very small cabin. The bow looks kind of stubby actually from the side. No hatches either. Really just a closed bow boat. Now that I think about it, I prefer the 25 :)
BTW, that 23 had no power engine hatch either :(

The cuddy in the 25 is roomy. two couches facing each other with plenty of head room plus the v berth has plaenty of room also. My feet don't even come close to hanging off

Good, hopefully he can help you out. I know he has a left over new 29 and I asked him if it got down to the 60's yet. His reply was no, it still has the engines left in it. Can't blame me for trying!

It sounds like Baja can't come out with a newer version of the 25 Outlaw fast enough. If buyers are going to opt for a pre-owned or even new 25 over the 23, something needs to change. Someone said their going to come out with a new 26 Outlaw? Sounds good, but the price better be good too. ;)
