Another "fastest" thread....

I want to know what is the FASTEST single engine V-hull with a 496HO.

I don't care about length, weight, beam, fuel capacity, rough water, flat water, altitude, temp, humidity, number of fat chicks on board, etc, etc.

GPS or radar speeds only, and no "I was riding next to someone with a GPS".

I can only attest to what I have seen on my 496HO boat.....

Rumor has it that the Extreme 29 is suppose to run 80 mph with a 496 HO!

Howard Bullet my ***.... it was lsower with an HP500 than my 496.... next..... :winker:

Not a 496HO, and that's not the greatest speed for a 500 EFI either.

I know the Superboat Y2K is a pretty darn fast hull....

Actually, they claim 80+ mph!

Thanks, you must be dialed in pretty good. I thought a 22 Donzi with 500HP was in that range.

The Nordic Rage 25 claims close to 80.

This is a bigger , heavier boat than a Donzi Classic

We have a fellow with a 05 Classic with 496 HO .Max speed on GPS was 75 so far .

Well..... myself and a few others believe for whatever reason, that I ended up with a "strong" 496 in my boat.......

I don't know much about then except they are suppose to be fast hulls and good in the rough.
