I was thinking of trading my Baja 232 on a 288 sunsation mid cabin.I was wondering if anyone had any info or opinions on the 288.
Very good, we were among the first few at every stop with GLH, except for the last leg to the Turtle. I had my 8 year old son and some of the guys I was with wanted to take a dip before getting to the marina. For some reason they didn't want to jump in there??? :confused1Quest1 said:Kanookstr
How did the 32 handle the big water last fall?

It's not the payments that kept me from a bigger boat, it's the size of my home waters.cads03 said:GEESH....never mind the big water, how about the big payments right now! :laugher: You could be riding in a 38 T/S Cig for what your shelling out in boat payments.
If it went well that day I would have to say you will never have a problem in big water! The first leg of the race,"where the overhead came from", we were going to the front a little to fast! Hit 1 wave came down on another, almost stuffed it! I thought the windshield was going to break. I don't mind waves but that was to much for the 30. Definately we will have to get together this summer. Ian and mike usually let me know when you are coming up.Kanookstr said:Very good, we were among the first few at every stop with GLH, except for the last leg to the Turtle. Did you keep the camper top on the boat at all times and if so where did you store it? I have a cockpit cover that I keep on the boat at all times, but if we get caught in a storm it can be a long time down below in close quartersCanada Jeff said:I had a camper top made for my Sun, and it came in handy for those surprize storms, and over nighting. Best money I ever spent on her!
Yes the first leg to Burlington was the roughest, but we had the tab settings just right and we were in a grove so to speak.Quest1 said:If it went well that day I would have to say you will never have a problem in big water! I know that grove! With the tabs in the right place, that hull can really run!!!Kanookstr said:Yes the first leg to Burlington was the roughest, but we had the tab settings just right and we were in a grove so to speak.:
Ya I seen that too, that's why I never bother responding to those posts. I personally like every boat, as long as it floats and goes over 30 mph.. :laugher:SunTime said:
Guess that's why I question and call B.S. postings when I see threads like that. Sheeesh, I mean Sunsation never even built a 28 with twin smallblocks so how the hell can someone have driven one?
Very True!, Actually the BEST boat is one that you are NOT making payments on! :laugher:Not Right said:There's a lot of nice boats out there, everyone tends to think the one they are making the payments on is the best there is.
