Cuda,I have 2 Edelbrock 750 Carbs off my 502's and you are welcome to one of them if you want it. They still look new and work perfectly without any problems. I was going to use one of them on my dad's Sanger but for some reason the 460 in the boat really like that 800 Holley I got from Opie.
The Edelbrock is what came on my 91 Baja with a 330HP 454 stock and still worked well after a cam and exaust change.

Thanks Scott, but I'm going to use the Holley. I've also got two 750 Q jets lying around, not to mention the one on the boat now. :)

One of the reasons I want to change the carb that's on it now (original Q jet), is you definetly hit a flat spot when the secondaries open.
stiffen up the top door a touch. once you figure out q-jets they rock and roll, very tunable carbs. research "secondary air valve" what edelbraock is pushing w/new avs carbs, q-jet technology

on the back right of the carb theres a flat heads screw on near the shaft, on the bottom their is a set screw. hold the flat loading the spring, loosen allen set screw, adjsut in 1/8-1/4 turn increments, tighten set screw

rods are super easy to change too
