Question.....

for you "hyper Bike" riders.....

I read earlier in this thread that someone had a HD Duece for 8 mos & only put 800 miles on it..... got me wondering.... I've owned HD's since 1973.... the guys I ride with... when we still get a chance to ride.... usually do 250-350 miles a day.... and end the day wishing we could ride more.... I rode a Buell XB12R FRBL last year for about an hour.... and was not comfortable in the riding position at all.... so here's the question... Do you HYPERBIKE riders actually go riding for the day? or do you just do a few wheelies & scream thru a few neighborhoods then go home glad to be alive? ;)

Dude, let me explain. Riding superbikes is a workout! After a day of riding around Sacandaga I was physically & mentally exhausted. Mentally because of all the pre-planning while your riding. Physically because of all the movement & in my case holding of ones breath! :laugher: But to answer your ? I would say riding about a tank full was all I could handle. I also commuted with myn to work. But it all depends on the bike. Some superbikes are more rider friendly then others. MAN WHAT A RUSH!!! Also, that is what these bikes are designed for. To go fast & pull wheelies!

I hardly rode the Buell for that same reason. I thought it was just me

I also think that a persons physique has something to do with it. Short legs, long arms, & a gut is perfect. No wonder why I was so comfortable. :D
