Boat Crash

I have not heard any news on it yet but I was out last night and while coming into bolles harbor there were lights everywhere and a helicopter flying above with a spot light. It was about 11:00 pm and when I got closer there was a boat that hit the rock break-wall which extends out of the south side of the launch about 150 yards and its probably 30 yards across and 10 feet high with a walkway down the middle. There was a boat about 20' in length that was sitting on the top of the break-wall :eek: The bow navigation lights were still on. The ambulance and fire trucks were everywhere. I have heard no word on injuries yet.

the skinny on the street (water) was the operator fled the scene but was picked up a short time later about double the legal limit. he was incidentally taken to the hoopskull, too. rumors also say there was an intoxicated underage drinker in there too (no way!!) but no word on that person.

bout 30 beer cans or so were also supposedly found scattered about.

ofcourse...i seen it a couple of mintues after you and it could have been alot worse.
