I know some people have had good luck with buying pre made covers on the net so put up some pics and info the boat I might buy has NO canvas not even a cockpit, so I figured I'd buy one of these then get a cockpit madde up in spring
obviously its a Formula 242ls

I bought mine through Overton's. It's a Sunbrella cover that fits my Scarab perfect. It's the best one that I could get. Had it 2 years and I tow with it on in the rain never had a problem. It cost me $600.00 I'm sure you can find one for a better price than that, but I needed one and didn't fell like looking all over the place for a deal. Get only the Sunbrella cover that is top of the line. It will last for years they have a 5 year warranty, they make cockpit covers too..

I bought a "Sharkskin" cover though Overtons also. Came from West World covers who have about a gazillion patterns and ordered it for my 21' Liberator and it fit like a glove. Sharkskin is very light and VERY water resistant. Paid around $350. in '97

The nice part about having a custom cover made for a boat like yours is you can protect that colored gelcoat on the sides from sun damage. Mine covers all the way down to the chine all the wya around. I live in Florida so sun damage is a big concern.

I had to custom make both my full cover and cockpit cover.... cost me 2,600, good luck... I used sunbrella material for both and I have no complaints... but the full cover is heavy as chit... :eek:gre:

I had a custom cover made for the Sanger and the material is called "Aqualon" which has a 5 year warranty.
I dropped the boat off at 5:00pm Friday night and picked it back up at 11:30pm that same night.
I knew with this kind of boat a catagog order cover wasn't gonna do the job and besides it didn't cost much more anyways.

Sharkskin, trailerable, semi-custom, 5 yr warranty, 100% polyester.

They happened to have one in stock that was returned by someone. I got it for $250 :)
Hmmmm, I might have to order one. I've looked all around and never see Superboat or Pantera on their lists. I would think a Python would fit.

How many of those Pythons were made? I would of guessed that there are more Supers or Panteras out there.

If it will fit a Python, it will fit a Pantera or SuperBoat. The cover is a little wide (duh ... :) ), but still fits good.
Not sure how many Pythons were made ?
