Are you sure? Put a stock street bike up against a stock sled and I think it would be pretty close wouldn't it? I've read that most high performance sleds stock do 0-60 around 2.5 seconds. How much faster could a bike really be?
Yep. Power being close the sled will win, especially in short distances.

CVT baby! :devious:

I Ninja 900R was plenty fast for me, dyno'ed at 145 rwhp after jetting and exhaust and tuning work.

Now, my boat and my Mustang which has 500 rwhp.

A friend of mine owns 5 pickle fork jet boats . One is a 19ft. Eliminator with a 1200hp blower motor. It does about 120mph plus. I couldn`t believe the acceleration it had. I litterally held on with all I had to keep from coming out of the seat. It does around 10 seconds in the quarter.

SO you're saying a stock sled runs in the 9s-low 10s?

A stock Busa with a good rider will turn 10.0s.
Well, since there aren't any STOCK 1300cc sleds it's tough to compare. But a modified 800 runs mid 9s at about 140mph! Modified 1000s run in the 8s. :D

I ran asphalt one season and in 660' never had a bike beat us. Some of the drag bikes could launch with us but when they would shift I'd pull away. Like I said, CVT! :D
